Policies

Welcome to Paris Wine Academy. We are committed to offering immersive, high-quality wine education experiences. To maintain clarity and transparency for our students, the following policies apply to all program enrollments.

Payment & Enrollment

Deposit:
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place in any of our immersive programs (French Wine Essentials or French Wine Scholar). Your spot is confirmed only upon receipt of this deposit.

Payment Plan:
Remaining balances may be paid in full or through a scheduled payment plan (2, 3, or 4 installments) by prior agreement. Payment plans incur a 5% administrative fee. Full payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to the program start date.

Classroom-Only Sessions:
For classroom-only FWS certification courses (no travel component), full payment is required at the time of enrollment. No deposit or installment plan is available for these sessions.

Refunds & Cancellations

Deposits:
All deposits are non-refundable due to the need to pre-book educators, locations, meals, and transportation with our local partners.

Cancellations:
If you cancel more than 45 days prior to the program start date, we will refund any payments made above the non-refundable deposit.

If you cancel within 45 days of the start date, no refund is possible. However, you may request to transfer your enrollment to a future session if space is available (a transfer fee may apply).

Paris Wine Academy Cancellation:
In the rare event that Paris Wine Academy must cancel a program (e.g. due to insufficient enrollment or force majeure), you will receive a full refund including your deposit.

Behavior & Expectations

Paris Wine Academy reserves the right to remove any participant from a program if their behavior is disruptive, disrespectful to instructors, other students, or our regional partners, or if they fail to comply with agreed-upon rules or program guidelines. No refund will be issued in such cases.

We expect all participants to:

  • Arrive on time and prepared for classroom sessions and excursions
  • Engage respectfully with fellow students, instructors, and hosts
  • Maintain professional and considerate conduct during tastings and travel
